Popular Feng Shui master Louis Loh has expressed support for Bersih, saying only a clean house will attract positive energy.
In a Facebook posting, he said: "A house of good Feng Shui must first be a clean house. If rubbish can be found everywhere in the house, how can the house invite positive energy?"
He cautioned that a "dirty" house would contain negative energy.
"Living in such a house will cause you to lose money.
"So don't be surprised when you live in such a house, your servant will steal your money and when others accuse him of his crime, he will demand security guards to arrest them.
"When there is rubbish in our house, we should of course clean the house. Cleanliness, no matter where, is important," he added.
The posting also featured a caricature of several people cleaning a house, with one of them wearing a yellow t-shirt while sweeping the floor.
Yellow is the official colour of Bersih, which is organising an overnight rally this weekend.
One of the demands of the rally, which the authorities have declared illegal, is for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to step down.
