Traffic was reported to be light on all major highways as at 9am today but expected to pick up from midday following the long Chinese New Year break.

A spokesperson of the Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan Bhd (Plus) traffic control centre said that traffic flow in both directions of the North-South Expressway was reported to be smooth.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said the situation was the same on the East Coast Expressways 1 and 2.
