Dr Mahathir Mohamad will not apologise to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak regarding 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion issue because the former premier is aware that the allegations are nothing but slander, said Umno supreme council member Mohd Ali Rustam.

The senator also claimed that Mahathir could be disappointed with Najib for not being supportive of his son Mukhriz.

“I am confident Mahathir will never apologise because he knows the allegations hurled by The Wall Street Journal and the opposition, especially DAP, are slander.
