YOURSAY | ‘And clean up the mess before resigning. He owes that to his fellow Malaysians.’

Tired Arul squeaks

Drngsc: Please do not feel sorry for 1MDB president and group executive director Arul Kanda Kandasamy. He knew what he was getting into.

If he wishes to see justice for Malaysians, it is time for him to sing and sing and sing.

We want all the details. Date, time, place, transaction, and who authorised it? Who authorised the alleged fraudulent dealings? We want the crooks punished.

Kee Thuan Chye: Writer Odin Tajué, don't let Arul get off so easily. He has so far merely squeaked. He should now squeal.

Tell the whole truth about the alleged 1MDB fraud. And clean up the mess before he resigns. He owes that to his fellow Malaysians.

Isana: Poor Arul. Only now has he felt the burden of the chicanery of the two alleged masterminds and beneficiaries of the so-called heist of the century.

He was brought in to lead a sinking Titanic while the two rats had already allegedly siphoned billions into their personal bank accounts.

Now he and a few others will be blamed for the fiasco.

GMK: All those involved were not sincere, even though they may have invoked the Almighty from time to time. Alleged liars hired Arul to keep the lies going until he could not handle it.

In life one must not only be responsible for the present, one must also be responsible for the future, not only for one’s own self but for all others.

Arul, you have the choice to resign or you can tell the truth.

Boeyks: What's the problem of selling all remaining TRX (Tun Razak Exchange) land and Bandar Malaysia land to cover the losses? Any more taxes will be squeezing the people like water from stone.

If still not enough land, there are huge tracts of virgin land lying around that can also go. The condition is that the sale should not be conducted by 1MDB where all the proceeds may disappear as overheads.

What about the assets of these people allegedly involved? Have these been sealed yet to pay for the losses?

Mahsuri: All the tupai (squirrels) in Malaysia are probably crying with laughter now, seeing this miscreant splat back to the ground.

Ideally, he should serve as prosecution witness to facilitate swifter justice against all involved.

Vela: Arul crying for more money perhaps? Giving the bosses a sneak peek of how he can bring the whole house down if he goes public?

Swipenter: Arul, there is a magic flying carpet waiting for you at KLIA to fly you to Abu Dhabi. You better check in quick on the double, otherwise it may be too late for you.

Frank: I agree with everything written except for the very last paragraph.

Yes, instead of what was written, Arul and others like him need to make it clear to the concerned parties that in case something were to happen to him, the Internet will disclose what he knows to the detriment of those concerned. Ala Hollywood movies?

Abu Dhabi fund woe shows perils of mission creep

Baiyuensheng: The writer of this article is jumping to the conclusion that the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) is a victim of fraud.

Until an investigation is carried out in IPIC, the company should be presumed to be in cahoots with 1MDB to allegedly cheat the Malaysian public of US$3.5 billion.

Anonymous_1421806811: Interesting. Two men allegedly ‘conned’ 1MDB into putting billions into a bogus company.

And PM Najib Abdul Razak allegedly received a RM2.6 billion ‘donation’ as goodwill and he ‘generously’ returned a portion of it.

Arul, ‘surprisingly’, now realises that 1MDB had been conned with internal "collaboration". Abu Dhabi has frozen the assets of these two alleged ‘con men’.

In Malaysia? Arul still hasn't lodged reports with the police and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Najib, the sole signatory of 1MDB, continues with his ‘elegant’ silence. Yet there are still people who think all these are not related nor part of a big jigsaw puzzle designed to cheat the citizens of Malaysia.

Discovery: Perhaps the Saudi foreign minister will sing a different song this time around. It is definitely getting very interesting to watch as the drama unfolds. Get ready the popcorn.
