M’sia already ‘colonised’ by China, Saudi and corrupt politicians

YOURSAY | ‘Wonder who own our energy assets and Bandar Malaysia?’

Salleh: Malaysia in danger of being colonised via ‘mind control’

Quigonbond: It's funny Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak should bring up how the Brits won over the hearts and minds of Malayans during those testing times.

The Brits are still doing it. Their system of common law, which remains substantially intact throughout the world, is the backbone to robust developed economies.

Their ex-PM David Cameron continues to set high standards of ministerial responsibility by resigning over a failed Bremain campaign.

One of their citizens, and no less sister-in-law to ex-PM Gordon Brown, is leading the charge against corruption in Malaysia.

And yes, Sarawak Report is winning the hearts and minds of Malaysia because their exposes have been vindicated by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) action.

Truth be told, right-thinking Malaysians would rather be "colonised" by universal principles of justice and fairness, rather than by propaganda of a regime that ignores constitutional conventions, fundamental human rights, and moral decency.

Mamadias: Salleh, your government and your boss has just sold a prime independent power producer (IPP) that was locally owned to a Chinese government-owned company.

We don't need you to tell us about colonisation as you have sold your souls and the assets of the nation to a foreign party not because they were not run well but because your boss needed to cover up the mess he created and billions of dollars that has allegedly gone missing.

Because of you, we will be colonised by China soon.

Onyourtoes: Yes, the Chinese (sorry, not the poor Chinese here) have colonised us. Wonder who own our energy assets and Bandar Malaysia?

Not Convinced: And not just the Chinese, we are also colonised by the Arabs.

After all, MO1 (Malaysian Official 1) received a mammoth donation of RM2.6 billion from the Saudi royal family.

Anonymous 1890491455255851: Salleh, you might want to remind yourself that there are a lot of Malaysians who are not ignorant, stupid, or gullible.

Before the advent of online media, the BN government could hide a lot of misdeeds from the people. All your corrupt and unethical behaviour went unnoticed.

Now you don't know how to deal with it. You win hearts and minds though good governance.

To make things worse, the ridiculous statements of defence by all Umno leaders have basically reinforced PM Najib Razak's government as being a complete and utter fraud.

Anonymous_1414741862: Salleh is one of the last few men left standing trying to prevent the oncoming tide of truth on the 1MDB. He had tried many defence mechanisms in the past from outright denial to rationalisation and intellectualisation, and even to repression to stop it.

Yet the tide keeps coming. Small wonder Salleh is now using his last card by claiming the country is about to be colonised by external forces “by way of mind control”.

For saying this, he appears to be suffering from what psychologists term as neurotic anxiety - the unconscious fear that he may be overpowered by truth and reality, and possibly be punished for it.

Multi Racial: Every day when I listen to those immoral politicians speak, it makes me sick. These people have sold their souls to their devils and they are pests to the nation.

Malaysians of all races and religions must reject such politicians. We, the people, have the power to do that but if we also choose to ignore them, we would not have anyone to blame but ourselves when our children's and our children's children suffer in future.

We need to let all politicians know that we reject corruption, we reject the mixing religion and politics, and we reject immoral politicians and public servants in our government.

Einstein once said, "The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.”

So Malaysia will become a dangerous place to live, not because of those evil people; but because people like you and me don't do anything about it.

Anonymous 122461436161429: Here we go again with another stupid statement. Salleh, if you talking about the US and their recovery of monies from the biggest heist of the century and kleptocracy, please just answer this one question.

Do you want them to proceed to recover and bring back more than US$1 billion to Malaysia or not? If yes, please work with them and give them all the assistance they need.

If no, please explain to the rakyat why you want Riza Aziz and Jho Low and others to keep their allegedly stolen money and properties.

Caripasal: Malaysia is now colonised by corrupt politicians. Those politicians are using their position in the cabinet, together with the law enforcers, to misappropriate rakyat’s money.

The various taxes they introduced are torturing the rakyat. This modern era of colonisation will fail ultimately, with only one possible outcome - the real independence of the rakyat.

Vijay47: Previously, such military strategies used to be called psych-warfare but now, as Salleh has shared with us, tactics of this nature are referred to as "mind-control".

I suppose in this form of surreptitious manoeuvres, the principal target would be the minds of enemy leaders. This is where Salleh is wrong in believing that Malaysia would succumb to these new-fangled attacks.

We are quite safe as our leaders don’t mind about about being controlled by forces hostile or friendly. Maybe that is a cunning defence cooked by Umno leaders Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Abdul Rahman Dahlan, and inspector-general of police (IGP) Khalid Abu Bakar.

Thus we do not have to mind any foreign action; in fact, Salleh, …ah… never mind.

Odin Tajué: Salleh, I am awfully amused. I shall now go down to your intellectual level and instruct you to colonise the G8 via mind control. Just imagine how super wealthy Malaysia will be when those countries have been subjugated.

Now get down to work with that absolutely brilliant strategic communications director from Sabah (Abdul Rahman Dahlan), and then mount your campaign without any undue delay.
