Hadi in the dark over why his motion was high on Order Paper

PARLIAMENT Abdul Hadi Awang (PAS-Marang) said today he is in the dark about the decision to place his ‘hudud’ motion at number four on the Order Paper on the first day of the current Parliament session.

His motion was to table a Private Member’s Bill proposing amendments of the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355).

"Why (did the motion) go up (the Order Paper)? That is the speaker's business, not mine. I submitted the bill and it is up to them whether they want to put it at number one, seven or 40.

"Whether there are (proverbial) prawns, fish or crocodiles, that's up to you to decide," Hadi said.
