The amendments to the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA) 1998 is expected to be tabled in the next Parliament sitting in March, said Communications and Multimedia Deputy Minister Jailani Johari.

"If we are ready by then, hopefully this will be one of the bills that will be presented this coming March. Otherwise we will do it in the next session," he said.

The ministry had consulted more than 300 stakeholders, he told a press conference after attending an event in Subang.
