The sister-in-law of former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) top gun Bahri Mohd Zin has questioned why the special operations division Bahri headed has become involved in a tussle over her family inheritance.

Noraihan Che Ali also wants to know why documents seized during the MACC raid on her house in Kelantan have not been returned.

"I want to ask Bahri, the MACC and the police as well to explain why this inheritance tussle - which according to Islamic law belongs to the wife and children of the deceased - becomes a high profile public case that requires the special operations division to investigate?" Noraihan asked in a statement today.

"I would also be happy if Bahri, the MACC or police can explain the outcome of the special operations division's probe against me, as well as why documents regarding the inheritance my late husband left behind that were seized more than a year ago from my home and office have yet to be returned," she added.
