A village 'missing' from EC's redelineation proposal, claim DAP lawmakers

Johor DAP lawmakers have demanded the Election Commission (EC) to withdraw its updated redelineation proposal, citing the "disappearance" of a village in Johor, from its updated list published on March 9.

In a joint statement today, four DAP state assemblypersons, namely Tan Hong Pin (Mengkibol), Tan Chen Choon (Jementah), Lim Eng Guan (Bekok) and Ee Chin Li (Tangkak), claimed that Kampong Teratai, a village made up of 876 voters, was missing from the EC's updated proposal published on March 9.

"Kampong Teratai is a village located on the border of state constituencies of Jementah, Tangkak, Bekok and Bukit Serampang," they said...
