Penang gov't, Gerakan bicker over transparency issues

The state government today denied that it had withheld information on the Penang South Reclamation (PSR) project.

The PSR is part of the Transport Master Plan, which is in the pipeline to address the state’s massive traffic woes.

State executive councillor Chow Kon Yeow said “full transparency” was in place in the implementation of the PSR, which is being carried out by project delivery partner SRS Consortium.

“These include disclosure of the request for proposal (RFP) of documents by SRS for public viewing and feedback, which was held from Jan 16 to Feb 17,” Chow said...
