Perhaps Hadi is the one who's confused, says Muhyiddin

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) president Muhyiddin Yassin has dismissed suggestions that his party was "confused" and hence unappealing to PAS.

He said that it was likely that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang who was "confused".

"No. There is no confusion. I am not confused. Maybe it is him who is confused," Muhyiddin told reporters in Kuala Lumpur today.

Yesterday, PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said his party will not collaborate with Bersatu, citing the latter's lack of leadership and the party was in a confused state, among others.

Muhyiddin suggested that Abdul Hadi might not have been keeping tabs on what Bersatu was up to, since it was a new party, but assured that they were understood by their allies in Pakatan Harapan.

"We have a constitution, we have explained our direction. We have (also) explained our aims to the grassroots and held roadshows throughout the country.

"Maybe the PAS president has not been following this. Maybe he thinks we are a new party, that's why he had wrong assumptions," said Muhyiddin.
