Institutional subscription allows all users from a particular location, to gain access to Malaysiakini.com without using a username or password. This form of subscription is specifically designed for organisations such as universities, embassies, government ministries, research groups, private companies and non-profit organisations, whose members need to access Malaysiakini on a regular basis, as part of their studies or work responsibilities.

All members will gain Premium access to Malaysiakini, which includes access to Malaysiakini's archives. The only requirement is that the organisation uses a permanent IP for their Internet gateway.
