The National Institute of Forensics Medicine (IPFN) in Kuala Lumpur was heavily-guarded, during the post-mortem on Kim Jong-nam, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's half brother, on Feb 15, 2017.
The institute's gates were locked to keep out reporters from entering the premises, after Jong-nam's body was transferred from Hospital Putrajaya.
A diplomatic vehicle believed from the North Korean embassy entered the institute's compounds for about 30 minutes and left at around 8pm.
Authorities said the post-mortem was completed at 7.30pm, and that North Korea's objections against the procedure was not entertained.
