Indonesian Siti Aisyah wore a bullet proof vest as she is brought to the Sepang Magistrates' Court where she claims trial to the murder of Kim Jong-nam, on Mar 1, 2017.
Co-accused Doan Thi Huong, from Vietnam, was also clad in a bullet proof vest.
The duo are charged with killing Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong-un, at KLIA2 on Feb 13.
Police said they smeared poison on him using their bare hands.
He died about 20 minutes later, en route hospital.
The autopsy found he died of organophosphate poisoning, with the substance having qualities consistent with the nerve agent, VX.
The case has caused diplomatic tensions, with Malaysia revoking visa-free travel for North Koreans entering the country, starting March 6.
