The annual mass breaking of fast event has taken place since 2012.

This year, it attracted some 300 local and international volunteers to distributed a wide range of food to visitors for breaking fast.

The food was sponsored by the National Department of Cultural and Arts, which together with the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), organised the annual event.
