Ean Yong, police - 'Who is intimidating who?'

your say 'This is getting ridiculous. Can anyone intimidate the police? They might even take the call to vote BN out of office an ‘intimidation'.'

Police to interrogate another DAP rep

RubyStar: This Selangor police chief is pathetic. It is only his blue uniform and some epaulettes on his shoulder pad that give him the spurious authority. Seri Kembangan state assemblyperson Ean Yong Hian Wah intimidating the police is a real joke.

It is more like the police are intimidating the state assemblypersons, the parliamentarians as well as the rakyat with their wrong priorities of keeping law and order in the country.

Nicholas Lim Ming Xhin: Poor Khalid Abu Bakar and his boys in blue in Selangor. To be intimidated by someone like Ean Yong Hian Wah, who - let's be frank - doesn't look or sound intimidating at all, shows what a bunch of sissies they are.

No wonder they are running scared when faced with organised crime not to mention the Mat Rempit. Poor, poor, police.

Malaysian for Malaysia: All these police can just wait. Once Pakatan Rakyat is in power, watch what happens. Not enough police to combat crime and yet they are trying to intimidate the people. Really shows that Malaysia is more and more like Mugabe's Zimbabwe.

Kgan: This is getting more and more ridiculous. Who is intimidating who? The people are not fools.

Gerald Akt: They are a pathetic bunch of public servants who don't even know where their true loyalty should lie.

Habib RAK: Peoples' representatives like Hian Wah are only expressing the public's views. For Khalid Abu Bakar to feel intimidated is simply ridiculous. Perhaps Khalid is not used to the public expressing their displeasure in the past.

Khalid, please wake up. It is time already. It's now the eve of 2010. The public has awoken.

Wira: This is getting ridiculous. Can anyone intimidate the police? They might even take the call to vote BN out of office an ‘intimidation'.

Louis: What has become of our police lately? Raja Petra Kamarudin said it rightly when he likened them to headless chickens heading to nowhere. In things like fighting serious crime, they failed miserably.

Snatch thefts are an almost a daily affair but seldom are the thieves apprehended. Robbers are becoming bolder and bolder, and robbing goldsmiths a stone's throw away from police stations is common.

But the police rate of solving robberies is appalling. Instead of focusing their attention on Lim Guan Eng and Hian Wah, the police should channel their resources to protect the ordinary folk. It is laughable that Hian can intimidate the police. Who on earth can believe that?

Similarly Lim's statement is nothing new. It is on almost everyone's lips. Khalid will spend a lifetime charging all these people for sedition.

Incidentally, Lim's statement is mild compared to the racial slurs by Utusan Malaysia , the ‘cow head' demonstrators after being charged lately and the infamous Ahmad Ismail's ‘pendatang' allegation.

Geronimo: It's news to me. Ean Yong Hian Wah, an ordinary MP, has the power to intimidate the police. Wow. This Khalid Abu Bakar must be really shivering in his pants to make a press statement such as this.
