Citizenship for votes: Who are the traitors?

your say 'What an insult - delete names when it is highlighted by the opposition. Should it not be the work of the EC to ensure clean rolls?'

Rashid registered dubious voters, says ex-Mafrel chief

Fair And Open: The law of nature says lawlessness will continue until breaking point. So it is quite natural that after Sabah, opposition held states like Selangor, Perak, Penang and Kedah will experience the same thing.

Then Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Terengganu, Johor, Perlis, Pahang and Sarawak will follow. So by the next generation, a new country, possibly called Malindosia, will be formed.

Faz: This is no longer gimmicks, magical U-turns or clever trickery, but an action that was clearly against the law and bordering on treason.

For whatever reasons - perceived or otherwise - to plan and implement this to its successful conclusion is a crime to democracy as we understand it.

If we are to stop the tentacles of such evil deeds, we will have to put Pakatan Rakyat in Putrajaya as Umno-BN will bury the matter. Let us not ‘play, play' - this is a serious issue.

Who Is That Masked Man?: Yes, former Election Commission chief Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman did not directly issue ICs to foreign workers, but he help facilitated those who did. All in the name of staying in power. Win at all costs, isn't it?

BN's support has been eroding over the past decade. The only reason it isn't visible is because BN has used unscrupulous means to overcome it in elections and in stifling the open voice of the people by threatening those who protest and those who don't conform like, for example Bersih 2.0.

It is only a matter of time before BN will fall. It's not if, but when. My advice for those who have participated or know of these discrepancies committed by BN is to confidentially confide to Suaram, Suhakam and Bar Council to set the record straight.

If not, come judgement day, when BN falls, you are all going to jail. BN is not a political ‘fixed deposit' in Malaysia's politics. Not even Pakatan, when they take power. No one is indeed above the law.

Hello: With this news out in the open, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) should investigate whether Abdul Rashid was ever involved in the Project IC, and also whether Umno was also involved as claimed.

MACC is keeping very quiet on this and their silence is deafening.

Kgen: So what Dr Mahathir Mohamad did in Sabah, PM Najib Razak is now doing in the peninsula. Only the most evil will sell out the country to foreigners to stay in power.

Pompom: Some information in the US diplomatic cables is not true and they were written based on the diplomats' observation on certain matters. Diplomats are human beings, they can also misinterpret the information fed to them.

Rick Teo: Now the illegals who have become bumiputeras will compete against the original bumis.

It will be interesting as the Malays have to share the bumi cake with these illegal foreigners. It's only a matter of time Malaysia will explode with issues relating to the illegal bumis.

Dianne A Simon: We need more investigations on this issue. Let see who the real traitors are.

EC drops 50 dubious names and 2 foreigners

Joker: Indonesians who didn't register as voters would invariably find their names on the electoral roll.

Legitimate Malaysians who tried to register as voters would find a barrage of red tapes to hinder and delay their registration. Is Malaysia a sovereign country or a colony of Indonesia?

Secondly, what logic is the Election Commission (EC) charging parties which found legitimate errors and frauds committed in the electoral roll? They are in fact doing the EC's job for them. It's a case of I made a mistake, but you pay for them.

Has Umno, MCA or MIC ever objected to anything on the electoral roll? If not, why not? If they did, did they pay up like PAS did?

Malaysiawatch4.blogspot: Yes, the procedure to delete names is highly suspicious. I think there should be a public hearing where the EC should be ordered to call the suspect voters on the rolls and let them be subject to a scrutiny.

Can a legitimate voter be denied his rights this way on the say-so of the EC officials?

Zainuddin: What an insult to the intelligence of the Malaysian electorate - delete names when it is highlighted by the opposition. Should it not be the work of the EC to ensure clean rolls?

It only goes to show that the EC is a party to these phantom voters on our electoral rolls.

S Vellu: This is only the tip of the iceberg, Selangor PAS deputy commissioner Khalid Samad.

There are thousands walking around as voters despite being red IC holders, foreigners, etc. A massive clean up in National Registration Department is required.
