Anwar Ibrahim today said PKR is waiting for former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin to announce the formation of a new political party.

"We are waiting for his (Muhyiddin)'s announcement.

"If the programme or agenda is beneficial for the rakyat, we can cooperate," the jailed former opposition leader told Malaysiakini when met outside the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur.
