Sungai Besar Umno Jamal Md Yunos has responded to PKR’s criticism of his toilet stunt with a photograph of a toilet tryst.

The photograph was a subject of controversy in 2012 when Umno bloggers claimed the man with a woman in the toilet was PKR deputy president Azmin Ali.

Azmin, who is now Selangor menteri besar, had denied he was the man in the photograph.

However, Jamal revived the picture in a Facebook post, stating: “Look carefully who’s the devil in the toilet.”

“I agree with the PKR Youth deputy chief,” he added.

Jamal was responding to PKR Youth deputy chief Afif Bahardin who earlier today slammed Jamal for his toilet stunt.

“Those who dwell in toilets are usually devils. Those who hold press conferences in toilets are more or less the same,” Afif had said.

Yesterday, Jamal took the media to a toilet and then flushed down a letter of demand by Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah.

Maria had demanded for Jamal’s apology or face a defamation suit over his claim that Bersih was linked to the Islamic State.

Afif said Jamal’s stunt also did not reflect well on Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

“The image of our prime minister is being defended by someone like Jamal.

“That’s the level our prime minister is at,” he said.

Jamal is spearheading a series of counter-rallies against Bersih’s roadshows in the run-up to the Nov 19 protest to demand for Najib’s resignation over the 1MDB scandal.

Najib had denied wrongdoing or taking public funds for personal gain.

Meanwhile, Azmin’s political secretary Suhaimi Shafie urged the media not to give publicity to Jamal.

He added that the photograph circulated by Jamal was a slander that had been recycled.

“The slander had been recycle many times when Umno is desperate. There is no need to entertain.

“The media also should not give publicity to individuals with such attitude,” he said.
