DAP has started a campaign to urge four million Malaysians, who are eligible to vote in the coming election, to register themselves as voters.

The campaign was initiated after the party noticed a drastic drop in the number of new voters registration after the 2013 general election.

According to DAP publicity secretary Tony Pua, Election Commission's (EC) numbers revealed that 1.02 million people registered as new voters in 2011 while only a total of 617,000 did so from 2013 to 2015.
