It is famous for its taste and aroma which is more delicious and unique than banana leaf lemang. In addition, the texture of the Lerek leaves is firmer and the stem that comes out of the bamboo makes it easier for the lemang to be pulled without having to split the bamboo. This is definitely a plus point for Lemang Daun Lerek Greenwood.

Lerek tree (Phrynium pubinerve) is a herbaceous tree that grows wild in the forest. Apart from its medicinal use, especially to treat boils, Lerek leaf, also known as packing leaf, is very famous as a food preparation container since time immemorial in Southeast Asia and India.
