I refer to the Malaysiakini report Gobind suspended one year .

The purpose of Parliament is not meant to be a cage for tigers, deer and monkeys to look at each other nor is it a boxing ring for David and Goliath to spar.

It is in fact a thrashing ground for the nation’s harvest where the grain is separated from the chaff, for it has been said that the weeds and wheat shall grow alongside until the harvest and the chips fall one way or the other.

Gobind Singh Deo, after failing to seek the consideration of the inspector-general of police, the chief justice, the attorney-general and the media over a key national issue, sought the speaker’s aid as a last resort where there was none other.

The speaker, instead of throwing out the topic which is not relevant to economics by promising to act on it at another time, threw out the proposer with the proposal. Not only should the speaker should be ashamed of himself but every one else who is in a state of denial.

The tiger cub has learnt to launch his first attack at a substantial prey without the assistance of his father. If not to kill, Gobind has set the mark.

From henceforth, this is the benchmark which every elected member of Pakatan Rakyat who has chased after their constituents for votes, is expected to rise up to, or else quit the party.

Parliament will be worse now that they have suspended him. But not to worry! There will be many more Gobinds to take up from what is left. The battle will rage more fiercely with skeletons long-hidden in cabinets thrown onto the floor.

Gobind is too big to remain twisting and turning in a goldfish jar anyway. There is an ocean out there, bigger than BN’s coconut shell dome.

But the Umno Malays suddenly realise they cannot swim when there is a Noah’s Pralaya and will need Najib Abdul Razak’s RM60 billion inflated tire tube to stay afloat, quote, ‘temporarily’.

Gobind is the wise one, prepared to jump out of the cooking pot, while others feel comfy to sauna with a bit of warmth provided by Najib’s RM60 billion worth of fuel beneath it.

A frog will jump out of the hot water but will remain till its doom if its heat is gradually turned on.

That, my friends, is the psychology of Najib and his stimulus package. Those who are wise will not to partake of his stimulating package.

Bravo, son of Malaysia. You have passed your test. Come apart, move on.
