I'm surprised that de facto law minister Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz is so out touch with the world around him. Not hitting out at the editors of two publications who had crafted their poorly-conceived arguments surrounding the death Teoh Beng Hock, is excusable.

What's even more unacceptable, is when he accuses others of playing up racial sentiments or politicising the issue.

He should have kept his big mouth shut.

Teoh's death on the eve of his marriage has turned the nation around against the MACC, once revered for its role in fighting corruption.

Nazri should not be so arrogant

What Syed Hamdan, the MACC chief tried to do with Selangor MB, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, is a sign that a government agency is now being used to throw the state government into disarray.

What Nazri and his henchmen should know is that the majority of Malaysians have seen through their ploy to shift focus from the police probe on the MACC to some unfounded racial issue.

Nazri should not be arrogant in the way he handles an issue of this nature especially when he does not have all the facts surrounding Teoh's death.

The least he could done is paid his last respects to the late Teoh. No would have accused Nazri of being un-Islamic had he turned up at Teoh's funeral to take a personal interest in this case.
