What a crappy myopic attempt to retain MCA relevance - who wants MCA to survive other than Umno? Why would the rakyat want to see any from the component orgy standing at the end of their duel?
Clearly MCA president Ong Tee Keat's anointment was to come up with something seemingly genuine from the cabinet PKFZ investigations. This was done with a view to hoodwink the general public as they (MCA) were the handlers of the project which is all part of the BN coalition "deal".
He tried to kill two vultures with one pebble with the hope that the public will go scrambling after the carcases.
What's so crafty about Ong? He declared war with his hand in the cookie jar.
Just take a look at Raja Petra Kamarudin's latest posting which Ong never mentioned much less appeared to have investigated. Already the government is scrambling to remove the posting.
Where on earth is MCA independent from Umno except its caucus, and the racism we all have allowed to perpetuate?
Ong gave us something to chew but unwittingly bit off more than he should and Umno isn't pleased with it. Not just the leaders involved or the MCA, but even the PDRM (the police) is in a quandary.
Ong is a political inconvenience that is in part welcomed by the public. An inadvertent Trojan horse - the kind we must brace ourselves for with the BN.
I dare say we haven't seen nothing yet.
The truth of the matter is perception. Right now, whatever Umno does will be seen in a bad light. Umno is poison.
Umno and BN are hanging from a noose from the sky that it keeps blaming on the opposition, RPK, the youths and the economy.
