The so-called ‘Greater Unity Plan’ (GUP) or even a second EGM will not resolve the current MCA leadership crisis.
In order to decide on the leadership issue once and for all, MCA should hold a annual general meeting to elect a new leadership at all levels.
If Dr Chua Soi Lek and Ong Ka Ting can compromise and work together as a team, they will ‘control’ more than half of the MCA delegates.
This will certainly spell the end of Liow Tiong Lai and his gang. The Chinese community cannot accept leaders who backstab their friends.
It’s time MCA remove these people to win back the Chinese support. With all the problems that he created, I believe Liow Tiong Lai will lose any post that he contests if there is an AGM.
Perhaps it’s time for him to go including letting go of his cabinet post as health minister. I urge Ong and Chua to agree to hold fresh elections for all the posts, including for the Youth and Wanita wings.
This is the only way to remove Youth leader Wee Ka Siong and Wanita head Chew Mei Fun as well since these two are behind Liow in urging him on for the so-called ‘leadership change’.
