I refer to the Malaysiakini report Campaign for oil royalty gathers steam.
The people of Kelantan deserve to be treated fairly and justly no matter what their political affiliation.
In this context the federal government should honor the 5% oil royalty agreement and channel the money to the Kelnatan government directly.
The people of Kelantan had overwhelmingly voted in the present government on numerous occasions to lead their people.
The contentious 5% oil royalty issue, if allowed to linger on, will only create unwanted issues and complicate the present political scenario further.
The federal government should review its stance on the oil royalty payments for the sake of the nation. It is indeed sad to note that the ordinary people of Kelantan have had to seek divine intervention on this matter.
I hope our political leaders will cast aside their political affiliation for a moment and do some soul-searching over this matter. What do we gain by adhering to an unpopular political decision that creates so much animosity and disunity among the people?
Let us not allow our political power and indoctrination cloud our conscience to a point that we are blinded of the existence and operations of God's natural laws.
