Bolehland: Where jet engines, witnesses go missing

I refer to the Malaysiakini report Missing jet engine: PM promises no cover up .

The government has stated there would be no intention to cover-up the case of the missing RM50 million jet fighter engine belonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

The defence minister has rightly put it that it is an inside job. What disappoints me is that our defence minister has not offered any apology to the public for this negligence under his ministry.

This involves the taxpayers’ money used for the defence of our country. This also proves that our defence system can be easily manipulated and our so-called enemies will have a field day in exposing our defence weaknesses.

This is an embarrassment to the country’s image. If the government is really serious about a no ‘cover-up’ in this matter, then the defence minister should offer to resign and a royal commission of inquiry be set up to investigate the missing jet engine.

They have just sacked a general, but they must also consider sacking the minister of defence.

Anyway, I doubt this would happen, certainly not in Bolehland, where witnesses can go missing and now even jet engines.
