I have been following Wee Ka Siong’s episodes with much interest of late and the issue continues to heat up with the latest article published in the Star recently. It makes one wonder - what is the all the fuss about?
From day one, Robert Phang never made or suggested any accusations towards Wee, while Wee freely admitted his company was involved in the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal by way of conducting a conceptual study for Port Klang.
Phang obviously feels that his link can make him a useful witness in assisting with investigations for the PKFZ scandal.
As an elected member of Parliament, Wee is duty-bound to help in such an investigation and should not feel offended nor outraged with Phang’s opinions if indeed he is a man of integrity.
Why is there a need to threaten to sue ? Perhaps Wee can see the better side of things once he puts his emotions aside and realise Phang’s intention to persuade and appeal for his assistance in this PKFZ issue.
