I am a Gerakan member in Penang and would like to send a message to Penang's Gerakan.

I have seen the ups and downs of Gerakan from the days of Lim Chong Eu.

A lot of people in Penang still admire the development of Penang which Gerakan brought in the days of Lim Chong Eu.

It is very sad to say this but what has Penang Gerakan been doing since the last general election? Old leaders who have been rejected in Penang still think they are the champions of the party.

Aren’t there any new faces among the party’s young capable leaders? I mean young Gerakan leaders in Penang who make sensible decisions and statements.

Lately, I see that the quality of the leaders in Gerakan in Penang is so low. Sometimes, I am confused when there are some Gerakan leaders in Penang making racist statements.

I don't think there is a need for Gerakan to question the allocation given to the Malays in Penang. What is wrong with helping the poor Malays in Penang? Gerakan is supposed to be a multiracial party that helps everyone regardless of their race.

It is important now for Gerakan to identify good leaders to lead Penang Gerakan into the future. They must be young leaders who are able to make intelligent analyses and represent the party as a multiracial party.

Obviously, they must also have high qualifications and a high education level.

For those people who just want to publicise themselves without thinking of the party, please stop bringing great shame onto the party.
