It's corruption, not racism that needs fixing

Here is a short brief letter on the modus operandi that the current corrupt government is adopting.

BN just wants money that they can siphon into their pockets. Be it buying a submarine, a fleet of fighter jets, building a hydro powerplant, upgrading the highways, building an entirely new township and now, the latest, a 100-storey office tower.

All they care about is getting money out of these mind-boggling deals. And why are some Chinese still happy about the government’s wrongdoings? This is simply because some of them get a part of these lucrative deals by working on these projects.

Now, when the poor Malays sees these groups of Chinese driving BMWs and living in big houses, they start to feel angry and start blaming the entire Chinese community (due to stereotyping that most of us are guilty of too).

Vice versa, the same applies when the poor Chinese sees the Malay cronies living in mansions and driving Ferraris. In the end, this sparks off a vicious cycle of one race blaming the other and thus creating tension.

This when we should be catching the real culprits which are those that involved in ridiculous amounts of corruption and unfair competition. It is corruption and injustice that we should fix in this country. Not racism.

There is no actual racial threat among the rakyat. The government lies about racism so they can keep us apart and make us fear of one another. And they rule us just as though we are their slaves.

This tactic has been used during the colonial days and it is still being used until today because we never mature and we have been simply taught to be ignorant.

This ludicrous situation has been going on for too long and it is time we demand a change. The first and simplest thing to do is perhaps to register yourself for voting.
