The recent losses by Pakatan Rakyat in the two by-elections should send a clear message to Pakatan Rakyat leaders to wake up.

The loss in Batu Sapi is not surprising as it was a three-cornered fight and was a BN seat. This loss should be a lesson to Pakatan not to trust SAPP further. SAPP clearly is not a team player. Pakatan should learn to choose their local partner wisely in future.

But the worst is in Galas. It was a Pakatan seat. From the result, we can see that Pakatan completely lost the non-Malay votes.

Many people including myself are wondering why the support of non-Malays for Pakatan has dropped since the last general election.

Most people would just simply put the blame on PAS, who are known not to take care of the interests of non-Malays.

But is it fair to just blame everything on PAS?

I think the blame should be placed on DAP and PKR. These two parties are supposed to look after the interest of non-Malays, but in most PAS-controlled states like Kelantan and Kedah, DAP and PKR are known to be ineffective or don't even exist.

Most DAP and PKR leaders in PAS-controlled states are not capable. Either because they are afraid to lose their jobs in the PAS-controlled state governments or they are just useless and not qualified to be there.

I think it is time for DAP and PKR leaders at national level to look into this. Don't let Galas affect the support of non-Malays in other Pakatan states. Everyone is watching how DAP and PKR play their roles there.

If DAP and PKR don't agree with PAS, then they must voice out and make the necessary changes.

Otherwise, DAP and PKR's silence will make people think they agree with PAS.

If DAP and PKR still want to remain quiet just to please their PAS, then they are no different from those BN component party lackeys.

Next general election, it is not just the loss of one seat in Galas. You may lose your states like Kedah and Kelantan. Be prepared!
