Finally the Umnoputras in Penang have seen the light. They had threatened, demonstrated, said that Lim Guan Eng was anti-Malay, said that he was anti-Islam, said that he had committed blasphemy by quoting Quranic verses, burnt effigies, accused him of using “haram money” to pay Muslims. And finally they have apologised .

Lim had stood firm and let them rave and rant. At every turn he had produced facts and figures to prove that their accusations were wrong. Now they have the Umnoputras, as is usual with Umnoputras,  running out of ideas and ammunitions to take him on.

So like the unmentionable animal, with its tail between its legs, they apologise. The begged him to remove their names from the blacklist which in fact does not exist!

It is not the Malay contractors Association of Malaysia that is apologising. It is the Umnoputra contractors – the Ali Babas – who are apologising. The honest Malay contractors are still getting the jobs. In fact the Malay contractors are pleased that the Umnoputra middle men and rent seekers are isolated.

The Umnoputra contractors or rather the rent-seeking contractors have lost their easy income. They cannot and have not learnt to earn an honest living. They should now learn that Pakatan is going to rule Penang for the next 50 years.

You Umnoputras have no more future in Penang. Seek your fortunes in other Umno-ruled states. Leave the real honest Malays in Penang. You will see that they will not have a problem making an honest living in Penang. They will lead better lives than they did in the last 50 years.

Bravo YB Lim Eng Guan. You have hit the Umnoputras where it matters. In their pockets. You have and will continue to win the hearts of the good honest Malays and that matters.
