Himpun's delusion of success: Turnout telling

It is becoming more and more evident of a sinister move by certain quarters to split the nation by creating a lot of fictitious and unjustified lies and insinuations. This sort of perpetration is totally out of reasonable behaviour with a false delusion that the targeted group is of less and immature intelligence to fall for it.

Little do these quickly mushrooming, self glory seeking non-government organisations realise that their perverted actions are doomed to failure and will eventually have a negative effect on a striving and diversified nation like ours, consisting of a vast majority of people who want to carry on with their daily lives in a harmonious and peaceful environment.

It is disgusting to see quite often, issues raised of violation of rights and protection without any concrete proof. And what is even more irritating is that the government's indifferent attitude towards such speculative accusations thus gives an impression it condones such behaviour or may even be a sponsor to such treachery.

However, if any law is broken and proven, then the necessary punishment is seen to be pertinent and fair.

Malaysia has made great strides and for us to continue to move ahead, we have to guard against undesirable elements out to create trouble and civil unrest. Counter-rallies are just going to give impetus to whatever hidden cause these NGOs try to propagate. Leave them alone and they will just fade away without the required support base.

The Bersih march attracted tens of thousands because it stood for something fair and just. On the contrary, Himpun's purportedly anti-apostasy rally only received a miniscule turnout.

The truth speaks for itself.
