I never made any comments on Twitter , relating to any of the DAP or Pakatan Aduns with alleged wrongdoing or misdeeds, as reported in Star . I never implicated any of the DAP or PR Adun specifically in my time, alleging them of wrongdoings.

What I wrote was a general statement, which I often do in Twitter . I do tweet a lot about BN’s wrongdoings from the beginning. Even in doing so, I have never implicated any BN leaders directly in my tweets without sufficient evidence.

My tweet dated Dec 7, was not directed at any of our DAP Aduns or PR Aduns. It was a general statement. I never accused any of our leaders in my tweets, in relation with ongoing controversies.

I maintain my position that some BN linked media are playing up the issue against the Penang Pakatan government. I too maintained that party unity should always comes first. I too mentioned that in my SMS to one of the state leaders on December 7, I said we should stand united at this point in time when the BN elements are trying to pit us one against another.

I am clearly disappointed with Star , that has breached every journalistic ethic that any media organisation should possess in general. Star clearly misquoted me on my tweets and the report was misleading.

Star can’t even get my name correct, referring to me as M Satees Kumar, when my name is Satees Muniandy. There is no such Satees Kumar working YB Ramasamy's office. The Star reporter or any other journalist had never spoken to me over anything in the past few days. They ( Star ) simply quoted me without making any effort to contact me regarding my tweets.

I wish to state here that I have never in any case, linked any of DAP or PR Adun or MP with wrongdoing or corruption as stated by the MCA owned daily. The report was clearly a misleading one.

I had demanded an apology from Star at the press conference held earlier. If Star refuses to apologise within 24 hours, I will seek legal action against the daily.

I believe no one should overreact to any press reports at this point of time. Therefore, I myself would not react to any statements released by anybody in regards to a statement that doesn't exist in the first place.
