I agree with Art Chan's views

I simply cannot believe that the former judge can speak of "rehabilitation" of political prisoners with such ease. Rehabilitation in such cases bring on images of 'broken' citizens. Perhaps Harun is better suited to head the Special Branch than being in academia or in Suhakam.

I believe the former judge also sits on the Syariah Technical Committee and was responsible for drafting a law as draconian as the ISA. This is the rehabilitation laws for deviationism and apostasy.

Now that we have the much respected K C Vohrah and Ranita Hashim, both lawyers, in the Commission, we should perhaps call for the resignation of Harun Hashim and Abu Talib Othman. Abu Talib as Suhakam chief is implicated in Harun's uncalled for suggestions on rehabilitation.
