That some shopping complexes prioritise Christmas more than Hari Raya in their decorations and promotions is really insensitive.

The Malaysian population is comprised of some 60 percent Muslims and perhaps 10 percent Christians. Why would shopping complexes give more priority to a festival celebrated by a smaller segment of the population? This is simply disrespectful!

I propose Muslim shoppers boycott these arrogant and insensitive shopping complexes. Let's patronise those which respect us and are worth our hard-earned money.

Together we can make our 60 percent presence felt.
