On Astro's profiteering behavior , I'm cancelling some of my satellite TV packages to send a message to the company. I have also written to Astro directly about my displeasure. I am particularly upset about Astro's way of packaging junk channels with better ones thus forcing subscribers to take those trash programmes and pay for them.
As other readers have suggested ways to 'hit where it hurts', here's my proposal. Complaining to the satellite TV network does not work. But threatening advertisers by boycotting their products works far more effectively. Maybe that's what we need to do.
