I would like to correct the misconception HF has regarding Christianity in his letter ( Why not use Iban word for 'Allah' in Bible translation? )
In his letter to substantiate or support the reason(s) behind the ban of the Iban-language Bible, he pointed out that Christians have been purposely using the word "Allah" for God so as to "misguide" the Ibans to embrace Christianity. If he has read the letter by Umar Mukhtar ( We're not taught to hate Jews ), he will find that Allah, the Jewish God and the God Christians worship, is the same. As rightly pointed out by Umar, it's not about which religion is older but about God having revealed Himself and touched every person's life in different manners.
If God wants to have an impact on an individual, He doesn't need to disguise himself under a different name.
HF said it is an insult to the Muslim community when Christians equate their God to the Muslim Allah, but by trying to 'divide' God, isn't it an insult to HF's intelligence?
Lastly, HF, in Christianity there is only one God and your statement can be considered as blasphemy if the Christians really want to take up this issue.
