The letter by Francis Siva, 'Complaint against conduct of parish priest' is most disturbing to say the least.

I am sure it can be argued that there are 'two sides', or 'many sides' to the story, but a serious investigation of this event is most definitely warranted, followed by an apology to all grieving, disabled people concerned.

The reason why the church's congregation did nothing during the ordeal must have been because they were too stunned to react to what was happening.

I would never have dreamt of such a thing happening anywhere - let alone on 'holy grounds'. Is no place safe anymore for the weak and marginalised amongst us?

My heart goes out to all the people who must have been deeply insulted, and affected by Fr Cheah's actions.

The Catholic Church should act fast to do justice to the disabled.

The Catholic Church in Malaysia should start opening doors to the disabled and treat them with respect and dignity by including disable-friendly features in all churches.
