After reading Dr Cheah TE's letter I have to agree with the health minister's view that action should be taken against doctors suspected of abusing antibiotics.
The first doctor the ministry should act on should be Dr Cheah, as he has admitted to have wrongly prescribed antibiotics to a patient suffering from a viral fever, because he "had to comply with a paying customer".
I wonder what else would doctors like Dr Cheah are prepared to do for 'paying customers'?
