I am no political analyst, nor a fortune teller. But by reading all the letters and articles indicating that the next general election will most probably be due in December this year, I have a bad feeling that something awful will happen to malaysiakini now that the investigation into the alleged "seditious" letter published is nearing its end.

The authority may very well 'disable' malaysiakini from operation using the seditious letter case just before the election campaign takes off until the BN once again secures the majority votes.

We all know what malaysiakini can do to damage BN's chances in the general election, especially among the urban Internet community.
