I am extremely delighted to learn, from the Proton advertisement currently aired, that myself and others have contributed indirectly to the Malaysian economy to the tune of RM13 billion, kept 100,000 people in employment throughout the world, as well as keep numerous companies in business. Wow.

Who would have guessed that the meagre amount that I paid for a Proton marquee can have such enormous effect to the country? I wish to thank Proton for letting me know my contribution to society when I purchased a Proton car. All Proton car owners will most definitely be delighted and over the moon with their contribution. We all deserve a pat on our back.

May I suggest that Proton run similar adverts on its achievement and contributions in terms of quality control, customer service, and research and development. I am sure many Malaysian wish to hear of similar superlative achievements in these areas as well.
