I am curious about the disqualification of three Keadilan leaders from the coming general elections. If they are ineligible to stand in this election, then why is it that one of them, Azmin Ali, was allowed to remain as a state assemblyman? By letting him remain as an assemblyman, the EC's action now only reinforces the prevalent belief that it is politically motivated.
As a non-partisan voter, I am disgusted at this turn of events. These leaders must be allowed to contest.
On a side note, a Reuters headline on the Internet reads 'Kerry, Bush open 8-month White House fight'. In our bastion of democracy, all indications point to an eight-day fight.
