Take for example, the dedicated lawyers of Anwar Ibrahim - they fiercely fought for the rights of their client without fear or favour even when they knew that the whole judiciary machinery was going against them.

In the end, even though the verdict from the courts could very well be pre-determined, what was more important was that they managed to expose to the whole world the sorry state of our judiciary and the dirty hands of those in government.
