We are all too familiar with the Billy Ocean song entitled, 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going'.

But this opposition alliance that came with a big bang, has proven itself to be a loose set of odd pieces which tried to have a common objective.

And now we see their ugly images when difficult and tough decisions are to be made in the survival of this loose coalition.

A disappointing lot of egoistic individuals at the top, who can be easily manipulated and then start to show us their shallow behaviour and character.

From the beginning, we all knew all too well it has been an alliance of convenience to topple the ruling coalition.

Can we still trust this lot and give them the mandate to take control?  Certainly not, as far as I am concerned, as it would appear like putting our necks on the guillotine.

They have now started to bicker and try to exert their influence and control of this weak and makeshift coalition and in the process, lost their original objectives and trust in each other.

There is too much of washing of their soiled linen in public. They have become totally hopeless.

It now does not matter to me who takes control of Selangor because whoever takes control is expected to behave the same way.

It all works out to BN's favour and whether they have their hand in it or not, it is left to the individual's own conclusion.

India eventually overcame Congress' control but Malaysians are still immature and it would probably take another few years to realise and appreciate our cosmopolitan heritage to work towards unity and strength.

So my choice is still towards the devil I know, rather than the angel who cannot find a common stand but continues to blows a lot of hot air.
