It is indeed very sad to hear Dr Mahathir Mohamad's derisive attack on Anwar. This man, having tried to destroy Anwar through such calumnious court charges, is still vexed enough to keep on viciously attacking him although in the eyes of the world and the law, Anwar is innocent.

Mahathir, instead of replying to what Anwar has so far divulged on the reasons why he was sacked, has now chosen to call Anwar a homosexual, which to my mind is nothing more than a delusion.

Mahathir now is trying to find solace as to why the man who had to be destroyed at all cost is now set free. The former premier has revealed himself as someone who is scampering around in circles and angry at those who oppose him while Anwar remains venerable, decorous and majestic.

I fervently hope Mahathir will repent and ask foregiveness while the door for repentance is still open. Anwar, in the meantime, should ignore him.
