I feel so saddened with the repeated announcement of Dr Mahathir Mohamad during in his talk in Singapore regarding Anwar Ibrahim. He keeps on charging that Anwar is a 'homosexual'. But can he prove this beyond any reasonable doubt?

The courts have already released Anwar. Mahathir, as a true Muslim should not keep on harping on this issue and tarnishing the image of another fellow Muslim for whatever reason.

What puzzles most Malaysians is that the ex-premier, at conferences all around the world, always reminds Muslim to adhere to the true teachings of Islam as the current conduct of Islamic teachings has deviated.

But now, we are not really sure what are the true teachings of Islam as preached by him. One of the very simple basic teachings of Islam is to not to tarnish the reputation of our fellow Muslims, particularly when it involves issues of morality.

God has said in the Quran that four pious witnesses are required before one can be confirmed of their sin. Do Malaysians think the prosecution's star witness in Anwar's case matched up to this requirement?

I think all this nonsense must be stopped.
