We all are indeed tired and fed-up with S Samy Vellu's characteristic and arrogant indifference to the many construction mishaps in the country. He insults our intelligence by his long-winded 'I know better and I am always right' way of explaining things.

He has been behaving like this since the MAS plane crash at Tanjong Kupang in Johor in 1976.What he has always been doing is to treat everybody like his junior MIC member with him as the almighty party president who can brash and bluff his way through.

He should have been taken to task a long time ago. The strong stand taken by the Barisan Nasional backbenchers in relation to the current issue of poor quality roads and flyovers is greatly appreciated by all of us.

It marks a new level of political maturity and is a strong testimony that the BN now operates like a team in that it inspires fellow members but would elbow-out any non-performing member.
