This is in reference to your report Mahathir urges US Muslims to vote Bush out of office.

During his tenure as prime minister for 22 years, Dr Mahathir Mohamad had often warned foreign countries, especially the superpowers, against interfering in the internal affairs of our country.

By urging US Muslims to vote Bush out of office, does not this tantamount to interfering in the affairs of another sovereign nation even though he may not be the prime minister anymore?

On one hand, we have Pak Lah trying to mend fences with the West and on the other hand, we have Mahathir throwing the spanner into the works.

In any case, I hope that this will not hinder Pak Lah's efforts in forging ahead with a much more friendlier foreign policy.
