I am writing this to express my dissatisfaction over Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaacob's recent remarks on money politics during the Umno elections.

His comments were to the effect that he would not be revealing the culprits he knew to be behind the money politics scandal because they are his colleagues and he doesn't want to tarnish their careers.

As such, I'm sure any normal citizen of Malaysia would like to pose to Adnan one question: is it then acceptable to witness a robbery or murder but later make a public declaration that we won't be helping the police as the culprit was our friend?

Where is the transparency that our prime minister shouts about?
